The world was shocked and saddened by the tragic passing of Tim Bergling, better known as Avicii; a man who ushered in and inspired the EDM generation.
Markus Schulz pays tribute to him on the Global DJ Broadcast this week, as well as showcasing more sounds from the In Bloom EP, presenting a world premiere from Arkham Knights, and new music from Davey Asprey, Solarstone, Bobina, Kyau & Albert and Giuseppe Ottaviani among others. UK rising talent Dylhen makes his guestmix debut, presenting a journey of dark progressive.
The Gallery celebrates its 23rd birthday this Friday, and has chosen Markus for the occasion, as he performs an open to close solo set to mark his ten years as international resident at Ministry of Sound. Highlights of which come to you through the World Tour next week.

Welcome to a very special edition of Global DJ Broadcast, as Markus Schulz today introduces the latest in his series of themed concept mixes. A two hour all vocal trance journey titled In Bloom, joining the ranks of the established Sunrise Set, Afterdark and Classics Showcase.
The goal with In Bloom is to celebrate and embrace the spring season. This concept in particular is focused on words, and how they are interpreted through song, weaved throughout the eras of past, present and future.
And by the future, that includes no less than five world premieres, all taken from Markus and Coldharbour's In Bloom Volume 1 EP, available from Friday.

Direct from New York, Markus Schulz resumes studio duties on Global DJ Braodcast today, ahead of another busy weekend. On the show this week, he presents Coldharbour World Premieres from UK talents Dylhen and Daxson, as well as featuring new music from Ferry Corsten & DIM3NSION, Tiesto, Ben Gold and Purple Haze among others. And in the second hour, Markus is joined by talented German Dennis Sheperd for the guestmix, who has some world premieres of his own to showcase.
In the clubs this weekend, you can catch Markus live at Marquee in New York on Friday, before crossing the border for an extended set at Club 77 in Hamilton, Ontario on Saturday. And fans in Russia can look forward to him next week in Yekaterinburg and Moscow.

The one Global DJ Broadcast World Tour per year which doesn't involve a lot of travel for Markus Schulz is his annual Miami Music Week presentation, taking place in his home town. In March every year, the world's dance music community descends upon South Beach to celebrate the scene we love, as well as providing the platform to present new material which will be crucial to DJ sets later in the calendar.
Before everyone goes their own way, there is always one last closing party crucial to leaving fans around the world with lifetime memories. And it was his responsibility to do just that, with what would turn out to be the final ever gig at Heart Nightclub before it closed its doors for good.
So for those of you who where there, or if you want to experience the ambiance of the Miami Music Week Closing Party, here it is. Enjoy the podcast, and enjoy your weekend.
