The World Tour edition of the Global DJ Broadcast returns this month with Markus Schulz bringing highlights from his recent tour of Australia.
Spread across four cities - Perth, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne - Markus performed alongside Ferry Corsten and Estiva, including special back-to-back moments with Ferry. The tour captured the full energy of Australia’s dance floors, uniting trance, melodic and euphoric techno sounds. Featured moments include Markus’ latest singles Ten Seconds Before Sunrise with BLR, along with Reverence and a selection of new mashups and reworks made exclusively for the tour.

Afterdark represents one of the purest expressions of who I am as an artist; the embodiment of “Dark Markus.” Inspired by the late-night portions of my open-to-close solo sets and the Down the Rabbit Hole club experiences, it captures those hours when the dancefloor transforms into something deeper, more hypnotic, and spiritual.
Every transition across this four-hour journey was carefully crafted; each movement and tempo shift designed to evolve naturally, guiding you deeper into the shadows. From driving energy to haunting melody, Afterdark 2025 is a continuous story told through sound, where no moment stands alone and every passage leads to the next.
This is music for the night people; the ones who understand that when words fade, flow is everything. It's the 11th year of doing this, and I hope you enjoy it as much as ever.

It’s that special time of year when the dance music world unites in the Dutch capital, and Markus Schulz checks in live from the heart of Amsterdam for the annual Global DJ Broadcast ADE Edition. A celebration of the present and a preview of the future, Markus delivers a signature journey packed with the biggest sounds from across the trance, progressive and techno spectrum.
If you are in Amsterdam, you can catch Markus for no less than three sets across Friday October 24. First up will be at the Black Hole Recordings popup store at Heremgracht 406 from 1-2pm. Following that, Markus will play for Transmission's special 25 Years of Gouryella event at ARAS Live, playing 6pm to 7pm, and the night ends at the Luminosity This is Trance event, playing a Down the Rabbit Hole set from 1-3am.
Next week's Global DJ Broadcast will be the next of the collectors edition themed mixes, celebrating the weird and wonderful of the rabbit hole with the 2025 edition of Afterdark.

As Transmission Festival week arrives, Markus Schulz checks in from Kuala Lumpur for a fresh studio edition of the Global DJ Broadcast. For the first time in many years, Markus Schulz's monthly Global DJ Broadcast World Tour travels are documented live from the magical island of Ibiza; with highlights of his open to close solo set for the In Search of Sunrise party at Eden. Part of Trance Week and Across the night, Markus journeyed through the full spectrum of sound; weaving together melodic and driving techno, progressive trance, euphoric anthems, and emotional classics reimagined. Featured moments include his brand new single with BLR, Ten Seconds Before Sunrise. A true reflection of the In Search of Sunrise spirit, recorded live from one of the island’s most iconic clubs.
In Search of Sunrise 21, featuring the chapters of the Awakening, the Nirvana and the Nocturnal Voyage, is available to stream now; with CD and vinyl editions available at the Magik Muzik shop.
