Global DJ Broadcast: Markus Schulz 2 Hour Mix (Mar 02 2017)

Direct from Sydney in Australia this week, Markus Schulz checks in from his travels and delivers a fresh two hour journey. Along with a spin for the recently released Dakota single Mota-Mota, Markus also premieres the next Nifra and Seri collaboration entitled Edge of Time, as well as presenting new music from Soild Stone, Estiva, Mark Sherry, Ilan Bluestone and Solarstone among others. The mix also features a memorial tribute to Romanian DJ and producer Snatt Dragos, who sadly passed away suddenly last week.

If you are in Australia, you can catch Markus this weekend for an extended set on Friday at Academy in Canberra, before an open to close solo performance at Studio 3 in Melbourne on Saturday. And the touring begins early for him next week, with a Transmission Asia preparty taking place at Fuze in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday.

Global DJ Broadcast: Markus Schulz and Koen Groeneveld (Feb 23 2017)

Markus Schulz made the long journey from Miami to Australia during the week, and used the time on board to craft the latest edition of Global DJ Broadcast. The show gets caught up on plenty of new tunes alongside current favorites, including Coldharbour plays from Arkham Knights, Solid Stone and Dan Thompson. And with just days remaining until the release of Mota-Mota, the first single from Markus' special audiovisual project The Nine Skies under his Dakota alias, he invited fellow collaborator Koen Groeneveld to engage in his first guestmix.

Fans in Australia can look forward to Markus' most extensive club tour in the country to date across the next two weekends, starting on Friday with a solo set at Family in Brisbane, and doing the same at Pacha in Sydney on Saturday.

Direct from the Coldharbour studios in Miami, Markus Schulz checks in at home for a few days before setting off on his travels again, and gets you caught up with a massive week of tunes through a fresh 2 hour studio mix. The show features Coldharbour world premieres from Solid Stone and Dan Thompson, new music from Arkham Knights, Above & Beyond, Radion6, Arnej, Eelke Kleijn, Jerome Isma-Ae, Gai Barone, The Thrillseekers and much more.

This coming weekend, in the clubs you can catch Markus at Rumor in Philadelphia on Friday night, before playing his first ever open to close solo set in Chicago, taking place at Sound-Bar. And following that, it will be a two week trip to Australia, with solo sets taking place in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, with an extended session in Canberra. Global DJ Broadcast: Markus Schulz World Tour London (Feb 09 2017)

Welcome to our second World Tour presentation of the year on the Global DJ Broadcast, touching down in a familiar location. A venue which holds a special place in the heart of Markus Schulz, it was fitting that he should celebrate his birthday by performing a six hour open to close solo set for his residency at the legendary Ministry of Sound in London. The highlights of the night are enclosed in this podcast.

Another important open to close performance beckons for Markus this coming Friday, returning to the home of Transmission, the Czech capital Prague, and playing all night long at SaSaZu. He rounds off the weekend with a welcome return to Romania, playing at Arenele Romane in Bucharest on Saturday. And still to come this month, trips to Philadelphia, Chicago, Brisbane and Sydney.

Mixed from somewhere high above the Atlantic Ocean, Markus Schulz checks in with the first broadcast for February, and it is a significant session; with the highlight being the grand unveiling of his brand new Dakota single, part of his very special audio and visual project for 2017 entitled The Nine Skies.

From aboard the annual Groove Cruise trip from Miami to Grand Turk, Markus Schulz finds a quiet corner to check in and deliver a fresh two hour mix for this week's broadcast, and it is quite a journey across the board. Featuring Coldharbour World Premieres from Dave Neven and the massive Transmission ID from Daxson, the show also features new music from Cosmic Gate & Ilan Bluestone, Ferry Corsten, Kyau & Albert, Mark Sherry, Sander van Doorn, BT, Way Out West and more, and not to mention a play of Markus' next Watch the World single In the Night, available from this Monday.

Following the conclusion of the Groove Cruise, Markus heads to Kingdom in Austin for a three hour set on Friday night, before a welcome return to Label in Charlotte on Saturday. Global DJ Broadcast: Markus Schulz World Tour Los Angeles (Jan 12 2017)

Welcome to our first World Tour presentation on the Global DJ Broadcast for 2017, which sees Markus Schulz return to a familiar setting, and for a special occasion. Highlights of his 12 hour plus journey from open to close at Avalon nightclub in Hollywood, as 2016 became 2017. You can expect to hear the progressive builds of the early evening, the midnight celebration, the chaos of the peak hours, a trip down the rabbithole, and a reflection of classics in the sunrise.

Markus returns to touring this weekend, and you can catch him for Premier at the Borgata in Atlantic City this Saturday, with trips to Milwaukee, Montreal, Miami's Groove Cruise, Austin and Charlotte coming in January.

Markus Schulz opens his Global DJ Broadcast account for the year with another themed edition, and in an effort to help ease yourself back into the grind and daily routine after the Christmas break, he presents a special New Year's Rehab mix, containing recent and distant favorites of the deeper and melodic variety, weaved across a two hour journey.

Global DJ Broadcast: Markus Schulz Classics Showcase 2017

Hello again,
 
A project that touched upon instances of brain power across a year and which consumed much of the Christmas holiday is proudly here to be presented - the 12th annual Global DJ Broadcast Classics Showcase.
 
When I was growing up and falling in love with the medium of radio, I was so moved by the period between Christmas and New Year, when suddenly what day of the week it is doesn't feel important, and this was reflected on the radio with all the stations playing classic songs.
 
My goal was to take this inspiration towards my own radio show, and the Classics Showcase has grown to become one of the most emotionally resonating and long-standing episodes for fans each year, whether current, long-standing or lapsed.
 
And with the 12th edition, I hope that it's just as memorable as those before, with many championed trance and progressive tunes of our era, and also hidden gems which perhaps did not receive the recognition they deserved at the time.
 
I would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year, and thank you for continuing to believe in everything I do.
