Global DJ Broadcast: Markus Schulz World Tour Los Angeles (Jan 11 2018)

Welcome to the first World Tour edition of the Global DJ Broadcast for 2018, where each month Markus Schulz brings you a slice of his sounds in the live environment, featuring some of the world's most famous clubs and events.

For the first of the year, we take you back to New Year's Eve, and for the third time, Markus held fort all night long at the legendary Avalon nigthclub in Los Angeles, playing open to close for eleven hours. The midnight festivities have taken place and we are deep into the night as we pick up the action.

Global DJ Broadcast: Markus Schulz New Year's Rehab (Jan 04 2018)

Happy New Year to you, and wishing you the very best throughout 2018. Markus Schulz opens his Global DJ Broadcast account for the year with another themed edition, and in an effort to help ease yourself back into the grind and daily routine after the Christmas break, he presents a special New Year's Rehab mix, containing recent and distant favorites of the deeper and melodic variety, weaved across a two hour journey.
 
A special thanks to everyone for your kindess and passion regarding the 13th annual Classics Showcase, as well as the Year in Review, and hopefully you will enjoy many more editions of the broadcast in the coming few months. The World Tour resumes for the year next week, as Markus brings highlights of his unforgettable 11 hour plus open to close solo set from Avalon in Los Angeles on NYE.

Global DJ Broadcast: Markus Schulz Classics Showcase 2018

Hello again,

A project that was a year-long labor of love and completed during the Christmas holiday is proudly here to be presented - the 13th annual Global DJ Broadcast Classics Showcase.

When I was growing up and experiencing a difficult childhood, as well as the culture shock of moving to the United States, I fell in love with the medium of radio. In particular, I was so moved by the period between Christmas and New Year, when suddenly what day of the week it is didn't feel important, and this was reflected on the radio with all the stations playing classic songs.

My goal was to take this inspiration towards my own radio show, and the Classics Showcase has grown to become one of the most emotionally resonating and powerful episodes for fans each year, whether current, long-standing or lapsed.

And with the 13th edition, I hope that it's just as memorable as those before, with many championed trance and progressive tunes of our era, and also hidden gems which perhaps did not receive the recognition they deserved at the time, especially from the likes of Robert Miles who we sadly lost this year.

I would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year, and thank you for continuing to believe in everything I do.

Global DJ Broadcast: Markus Schulz World Tour Brooklyn New York (Dec 07 2017)

The final World Tour edition for 2017 on the Global DJ Broadcast takes Markus Schulz to Brooklyn in New York, and showcases the highlights of his debut performance at Schimanski on Saturday night for the NYC trancefamily and beyond.

Moving into December means preparations for the year-end celebrations here on the braodcast are underway. Next week, Markus will present the annual GDJB Year in Review - showcasing the tracks which connected especially with the fans this year. In two weeks, the most popular World Tour of the year will be presented, and the final broadcast of the year will be very special - the next in the Global DJ Broadcast Four Seasons series - the annual Classics Showcase. Global DJ Broadcast: Markus Schulz and Talla 2XLC (Nov 30 2017)

The brand new Dakota album was revealed at Transmission in Prague last weekend, titled The Nine Skies, and Markus Schulz presents a world premiere of Edonismo on the Global DJ Broadcast this week; a track you will receive as an instant gratification from Friday by preordering The Nine Skies on iTunes.

Markus also presents new music from Gai Barone, Dennis Sheperd, Andy Moor, Gaia, Koen Groeneveld, Dylhen and much more. In the second hour, Talla 2XLC is on hand to deliver the guestmix, with both Talla and Markus responsible for mixing the brand new Techno Club Volume 53 CD compilation, out on Friday through Amazon Germany.

If you are in Brooklyn, New York, you can catch Markus live this Saturday night at Schimanski. That set will be recorded to air on the Global DJ Broadcast World Tour next week.

Global DJ Broadcast: Markus Schulz and Jam El Mar (Nov 23 2017)

Happy Thanksgiving to you all, and Markus Schulz is on hand direct from Denver to serve up a treat through the latest edition of Global DJ Broadcast. He is joined by trance pioneer Jam El Mar for the guestmix, ahead of their apperances at Ministry of Sound in London for Coldharbour Night this Friday, alongside Solid Stone and Arkham Knights. And also appropriately, before the release of their remix reviving the iconic Odyssey to Anyoona this Monday.

Attention will shift to Prague on Saturday night for the annual Transmission extravaganza. For the very first time, you will be able to witness Markus performing as Dakota live through video; with the audiovisual presentation of THe Nine Skies airing on his Facebook page at 3:15pm Pacific | 6:15pm Eastern | 0015 Central Europe on Saturday evening.
