A very special edition of the Global DJ Broadcast for you this week, as Markus Schulz presents the next installment of our four seasons series - and on this occasion, celebrating the weird and wonderful of the rabbithole through the third annual Global DJ Broadcast Afterdark. The mix includes world premieres of two Dakota tracks, one of which will be included on the upcoming album The Nine Skies, as well as much more.
Markus would like to thank all of you for your inspiration and moments shared together in those small hours of his worldwide open to close solo sets throughout 2017. He hopes that this is a set you will download and keep in your collection for some time to come.

One of the most important weeks in the music calendar has arrived, and Global DJ Broadcast comes live and direct from Amsterdam Dance Event. For the occasion, Markus Schulz enlists some good company, with the show being co-hosted throughout by close friend Ferry Corsten. During their conversation, they discuss Ferry's album Blueprint, his Gouryella project, the future of New World Punx and more.
Musically, Markus showcases four World Premieres, including this year's Transmission theme, as well as tunes by Solid Stone, Mark Sixma & Emma Hewitt, Dave Neven, Purple Haze, DIM3NSION, Arkham Knights and more. And if you are in Amsterdam for the festivities, you will be able to catch him perform a signature open to close solo set at Melkweg on Friday night.

There is no other place in the world Markus Schulz would rather be on the Sunday night of Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. So it's no surprise that he embarked on another of his signature journeys at the cathedral of Stereo in Montreal for the latest Global DJ Broadcast World Tour. Beginning at 2am and playing for ten hours, the highlights of the night and morning are enclosed in this week's podcast.
A weekend in Europe awaits Markus, firstly with a welcome return to Romania; playing at Heaven in Timisoara on Friday alongside 4 Strings and Adina Butar. And then on Saturday he is off to Bratislava, playing at The Club alongside Slovakia's own Nifra.

A journey which began some 18 months ago comes to a cresendo, with the release of the Watch the World Deluxe album from Friday October 6. Featuring extended versions of the original album, new remixes and two brand new original productions, Markus Schulz presents an insight of what you can expect from the album on Global DJ Broadcast this week. And as well as the Watch the World highlights, he also features a heartfelt tribute to the victims of the recent tragedy in Las Vegas. We continue to think and sympathise deeply with everyone affected.
In the clubs this weekend, you can catch Markus peforming live at Opera in Atlanta on Friday, before moving on to Ryse in St. Louis on Saturday. And on Sunday, Markus helps celebrate Thanksgiving weekend in Canada by playing a signature open to close solo set at the cathedral of Stereo in Montreal. Highlights of the Stereo set will feature on the World Tour for you next week.
