Despite being friends and colleagues for quite some time, and remixing each other's material, Markus Schulz and Cosmic Gate had never previously collaborated on an original production before... until now. We are proud to present the world premiere of AR on this week's Global DJ Broadcast.
Our world of music came together in sadness following the passing of Linkin Park band member Chester Bennington last week. The news motivated Markus towards paying tribute in his own fashion, with a new remix of the classic In the End, which you will hear in this show. The mix also features new music from Solid Stone, Kyau & Albert, Gai Barone, Purple Haze, Marcus Santoro and more, and in the second hour, Markus is joined by hot UK talent Arkham Knights for the guestmix, with their State of Mind EP coming to Coldharbour Recordings this Monday.
Markus is gearing up for the second weekend of Tomorrowland, where you can catch him performing on the A State of Trance stage at 1930 CET on Friday. And Tomorrowland will be the focus of next week's World Tour, featuring Markus' set for the Daybreak Sessions.

The World Tour returns to Global DJ Broadcast this week and catches Markus Schulz amidst his usual busy summer schedule. And following the beautiful surroundings of Bali last month, the World Tour travels across the Pacific and touches down in one of our favorite destinations, the Canadian city of Toronto; where last weekend Markus not only graced the Digital Dreams festival, but also took control of the official afterparty taking place at Uniun Nightclub. And it is the afterparty where our focus lands for the live recording. The big tunes have been played all day long at the festival, so it was time to head down that rabbithole on a journey.
Fans in Houston can look forward to seeing Markus this Saturday at Stereo Live, before a hectic time in Europe begins at Amnesia in Ibiza on Thursday July 20th, the Trance Energy stage at Tomorrowland follows on Friday July 21st, the Timeshift festival in Bucharest on Saturday July 22nd, and presenting the Daybreak session at Tomorrowland on Sunday July 23rd. And next week right here on the broadcast, it's our very special summer presentation, the annual journey of the Global DJ Broadcast Sunrise Set.

Summer is in earnest and on a transatlantic trip, Markus Schulz delved into another weekly Global DJ Broadcast journey. And after weeks of teasing and speculation, this week was the one chosen to finally reveal the next Dakota single taken from the audiovisual project The Nine Skies, titled In Search of Something Better.
Markus also presents Coldharbour World Premieres from Solid Stone and Gai Barone, along with new music from Bobina, Arkham Knights, Marco V, The Thrillseekers, Solarstone & Orkidea, Nifra and more. Markus is joined by popular German trance DJ Ronski Speed for the guestmix, ahead of his appearance at the upcoming Coldharbour Night in Los Angeles on July 15.
Fans in Kansas City can catch Markus this Friday night at Mosaic, and then on Saturday at the Dreams Festival in Toronto, which will be recorded for the World Tour that airs next week. And in two weeks, it will be our very special summer presentation, the annual Global DJ Broadcast Sunrise Set.
