Direct from Los Angeles and amist preparations for The Nine Skies premiere at Dreamstate in San Francisco, Markus Schulz checks in with a fresh weekly mix for Global DJ Broadcast. He opens with the final preview of Running Up That Hill, before the full reelase on Monday, as well as featuring new music from Bobina, The Thrillseekers, Ben Gold, Way Out West, Eelke Kliejn, Wellenrausch and more. The classic of the week is a memorial tribute to those who tragically lost their lives in Manchester earlier this week, and Markus is also joined by close friend Ferry Corsten, showcasing his new album Blueprint in the guestmix.
All roads lead to San Francisco for the first sighting of Markus' special audiovisual presentation as Dakota, The Nine Skies at Dreamstate, before resuming normal duty with a road trip up to Orlando for Gilt on Saturday June 3rd.

Direct from beautiful Bali in Indonesia, Markus Schulz checks in with his weekly assortment on Global DJ Broadcast. He gets you caught up with the latest big tunes along with current favorites, including music from Above & Beyond, Jerome Isma-Ae & Alastor, Gai Barone, Marco V, Stoneface & Terminal and more. In the second hour, Markus is joined by the godfather of trance himself, Mr. Paul Oakenfold, who showcases his new Dreamstate compilation and Generations concept in the guestmix.
Markus spends this weekend in Bali, playing at Sky Garden on Saturday night, before spending all of next week preparing for the grand unveiling of his audiovisual Dakota project The Nine Skies, taking place at Dreamstate in San Francisco on Saturday May 27th.

The entire dance music world was deeply saddened with the news that Robert Miles had passed away. With his track Children, along with albums such as Dreamland, he has and will continue to inspire future generations, and his impact on trance music cannot be understated. Markus Schulz pays tribute to him on this week's Global DJ Broadcast with two of his classic pieces.
Whilst in Dubai, Markus also serves up quite a journey across two hours, weaving trance, progressive, deep house and techno. The set features Coldharbour plays from Arkham Knights, Daxson & Harry Square and Solid Stone, as well as a play for Running Up That Hill, and some beautiful new music from Claus Backslash, Ashley Wallbridge, Way Out West, Sasha, Pobsky and much more.
If you are in Indonesia this weekend you can catch Markus as part of the Shivering Ground Festival in Jakarta. And we are only two weeks away from the debut audiovisual presentation of Dakota's The Nine Skies, at Dreamstate in San Francisco.

Welcome to the fifth World Tour outing of the year for Global DJ Broadcast, and takes Markus down to South America for a long overdue visit to Colombia, and the city of Medellin to feature on the show for the first time in almost eight years. The passionate Colombian trancefamily were out in force to greet him, and their voices are heard proudly throughout the music. Highlights of a four hour set are right here.
This week is a busy one for Markus and it continues tonight at Beta in Denver, before an extended set at Webster Hall in New York City on Friday night, before going coast to coast for festival action with Bliss Transcendence in Seattle on Saturday. Say hello if you are coming along.
