Markus Schulz made the long journey from Miami to Australia during the week, and used the time on board to craft the latest edition of Global DJ Broadcast. The show gets caught up on plenty of new tunes alongside current favorites, including Coldharbour plays from Arkham Knights, Solid Stone and Dan Thompson. And with just days remaining until the release of Mota-Mota, the first single from Markus' special audiovisual project The Nine Skies under his Dakota alias, he invited fellow collaborator Koen Groeneveld to engage in his first guestmix.
Fans in Australia can look forward to Markus' most extensive club tour in the country to date across the next two weekends, starting on Friday with a solo set at Family in Brisbane, and doing the same at Pacha in Sydney on Saturday.

Direct from the Coldharbour studios in Miami, Markus Schulz checks in at home for a few days before setting off on his travels again, and gets you caught up with a massive week of tunes through a fresh 2 hour studio mix. The show features Coldharbour world premieres from Solid Stone and Dan Thompson, new music from Arkham Knights, Above & Beyond, Radion6, Arnej, Eelke Kleijn, Jerome Isma-Ae, Gai Barone, The Thrillseekers and much more.
This coming weekend, in the clubs you can catch Markus at Rumor in Philadelphia on Friday night, before playing his first ever open to close solo set in Chicago, taking place at Sound-Bar. And following that, it will be a two week trip to Australia, with solo sets taking place in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, with an extended session in Canberra. Welcome to our second World Tour presentation of the year on the Global DJ Broadcast, touching down in a familiar location. A venue which holds a special place in the heart of Markus Schulz, it was fitting that he should celebrate his birthday by performing a six hour open to close solo set for his residency at the legendary Ministry of Sound in London. The highlights of the night are enclosed in this podcast.
Another important open to close performance beckons for Markus this coming Friday, returning to the home of Transmission, the Czech capital Prague, and playing all night long at SaSaZu. He rounds off the weekend with a welcome return to Romania, playing at Arenele Romane in Bucharest on Saturday. And still to come this month, trips to Philadelphia, Chicago, Brisbane and Sydney.

Mixed from somewhere high above the Atlantic Ocean, Markus Schulz checks in with the first broadcast for February, and it is a significant session; with the highlight being the grand unveiling of his brand new Dakota single, part of his very special audio and visual project for 2017 entitled The Nine Skies.
The mix also features a World Premiere from Coldharbour's Arkham Knights, along with new music from Ferry Corsten, Gareth Emery, Cosmic Gate, Andrew Bayer, Ilan Bluestone, Guy J and Marco V among others. And in the second hour, Markus is joined by upcoming Coldharbour talent Dave Neven, celebrating the release of his excellent Darkside EP on the label this week.
